Angela Bennett
For Angela Bennett, acting started as a passion and quickly became a lifelong journey. She discovered her love for the craft years ago and wasted no time diving in taking acting classes, networking, auditioning for independent films and theater productions. As her dedication grew, she sought representation to open new doors and push her career forward. With an agent on her side, Angela began auditioning for commercials, major films, and TV shows, establishing herself in the Texas market. After five years, she took a leap and traveled to New York City, spending several months auditioning and exploring new opportunities before eventually making the move to Los Angeles. There, she spent over five years working in one of the most competitive entertainment markets before returning to Texas in 2009. Back home, Angela shifted gears, stepping into semi-retirement while still keeping a foot in the industry. She continued auditioning while running a theater group and gaining experience in stage management. Her creativity extended beyond the stage, leading her to explore filmmaking, producing, casting, and coaching Actors.
By 2016, Angela’s passion for coaching Actors led her to start managing her students, helping them find opportunities and guiding their careers. That passion grew into something bigger, and Bennett Connection was born, giving her a new way to help Actors thrive in the entertainment industry. In 2017, Angela stepped away from acting and coaching to focus solely on establishing and growing Bennett Connection. Leveraging her extensive network, Angela began scouting talent, accepting submissions, and before long, Bennett Connection flourished into a thriving agency.
Today, under Angela’s leadership, Bennett Connection has helped Actors land auditions and bookings in television, film, commercials, voiceover, and print campaigns. She credits her years of experience as an actor, teacher, filmmaker, and producer for shaping her approach to talent representation. By understanding the industry from multiple perspectives, she continues to guide and support Actors in achieving their goals.
